SENTINEL EXPERIENCE was established in early 2006 at the initiative of local business leaders, academics and prominent members of the business community of Hout Bay. The formation of SENTINEL EXPERIENCE, dedicated to identifying, creating and encouraging tourism activities in Hout Bay by means of promoting Hout Bay’s heritage and in particular the Khoisan history by establishing the Hout Bay Khoisan Cultural Heritage Centre. Being an integral part of HBBOF (Hout Bay Business Opportunities Forum), Hangberg Fishing Village, Hout Bay Museum, Fishery Museum and CT Tourism (Hout Bay) many jobs for the previously disadvantaged small and medium enterprises will be created. This also will turn other local existing businesses into sustainable business enterprises.
