Rough Diamonds
By Vivian Stoffels
What happens to rough diamonds in sprawling townships, all keyed up to share an idea of a new business concept only to have their enthusiasm deflated by managerial indifference, or passive/aggressive resistance from grey suits and red tape and corporate protocol that will only pay attention on presentation of that dreaded business plan ...confusion, bewilderment, disillusion.
No matter how good ideas are, if not presented in a way that it can be discussed, unpacked and understood by the people who can help make them happen, they will never be implemented. Left frustrated ...and the community will never experience that terrific new service and the growth of a new enterprise.
Ukunika Education and their Entrepreneur Readiness Initiative is plugging this gap and doing it better.
Rarely would without the readiness and required set of rules and documents, corporate funding institutions entertain raw talent.
