Mr Keikabile_Mogodu is a citizen of Botswana. As spokesperson of Botswana Khwedom Council, an Indigenous Organization instituting the rights of the indigenous San People of Botswana, is a San Rights Advocate and a Human Rights Defender.
Nationally, since 1995, Mogodu advocates for the rights and recognition of the Indigenous San people of Botswana. He further participates and advises towards Land and Natural Resources, Climate Change, Biological Diversity and Sustainable Development.
Mogodu has actively participated in negotiations on the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing as well as presenting position papers to the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. He lobbies for the recognition of the San’s ancestral land, recognition of their Chiefs and Customs and the introduction of Mother Tongue in the Curriculum in the Botswana Education System.

Keikabile’s knowledge on Political Science, Sociology, Theology and Law forming the backbone to his achievements.
It was in 2023 when Mr Mogodu engaged as Botswana's Ambassador to the Indigenous Peoples Society of Southern Africa NPC (IPSOSA).
